Aurora Cannabis Inc. is a Canadian licensed cannabis producer, headquartered in Edmonton. It is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange as ACB. By the end of September of this year, the company had eight authorized production facilities, five sales licenses, and operations in 18 countries. The same company is established as the second largest cannabis in the world by market capitalization, after Canopy Growth Corporation. Despite this, he has not yet listed his shares on a stock exchange in the United States.
Now, Aurora Cannabis requested to quote its shares on the New York Stock Exchange and so it is expected that the shares are traded in New York with the symbol ACB, as well as its listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
According to the company, the listing is subject to the approval of the New York Stock Exchange, and likewise to the fulfillment of all the listing and regulatory requirements. Meanwhile, the cannabis company expects operations in the New York Stock Exchange to begin before the end of the month.
It should be noted that the company’s shares had a significant increase last month after a report established that the cannabis company was entering into talks with Coca-Cola Co. to develop beverages with pot infusions.
Despite this, Aurora has expressed that if they have held exploratory talks but that does not mean that an agreement has been established.
