Mercedes-Benz is recognized worldwide as the largest manufacturer of luxury cars, and also makes an attack of $ 12 billion, through a first model of a series of models powered by a battery, which would become a possible Tesla Inc. competition. Also, according to the CEO of Daimler AG, Dieter Zetsche, the company in its new project had the intention of spending 10 billion euros which represents $ 12 billion, however, I affirm that the company has spent more than expected, but I do not specify a figure exactly. He added that the Mercedes EQC crossover starts production in the first half of next year, part of a plan to develop its EQ electric line. Mercedes plans to assemble the EQC at its factory in Bremen, where the vehicle manufacturer also manufactures its best-selling C-Class sedan.

Likewise, several luxury brands in the world of which Mercedes is no exception, continue to challenge Tesla aggressively while the California-based vehicle manufacturer tries to achieve its objectives for the production of Model 3 and in the same way He does his best to acquire profits.

Similarly, Zetsche told the media that “There is no alternative but to bet on electric cars, and we will enter” and added to it, “It is beginning at this time.” He also said that he considers the EQC a profitable vehicle and assures that it will “offer the best package” if we make a comparison with other companies, the only thing he was not willing to comment on the prices.

It is important to note that Mercedes will be willing to spend 1 billion euros with respect to the production of batteries to establish a network of eight facilities around the world. In addition to this, it is necessary to mention that the dispute will be characteristically aggressive in the SUV and crossover categories.

Similarly, a positive point in this is that there has been an answer to the changes in consumer tastes and because now the emission standards are considerably stricter, the electric models are transformed as elementals to comply with the same.
